Heavy vehicle Operator Walcha Council We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Operator to utilise their skills for Walcha Council. This position is required to carry out a variety of tasks associated with the construction and maintenance of Walcha Council’s road network and transportation as required. Employees may be required to undertake other relevant duties as directed which are consistent with the employee’s skill, competence level and training. Requirements Operate Council Heavy Vehicles Operate Council Trailers Provide and carry out regular maintenance on vehicles and plant Assist Council programs with your knowledge of Heavy Vehicle operations Work as a valued contributor in high performance teams Complete required records accurately and on time Coordinate with Council Team Leaders, Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers to facilitate efficient delivery ad removal of materials to and from sites Provide other functions to Council as required What we Offer This is a permanent Full-Time position (38 hours per week) starting at $1190.10 per week (gross), based on the local government state award 2023. You will enjoy one RDO every fortnight.
