Advanced Electrical Technician Role - Woolloomooloo, NSW Location: North Sydney Start Date: ASAP – July 2026 Roster: 24/7 rotating roster (day/night shifts) Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm & 6pm–6am) Shifts per Rotation: 19 shifts per 6-week rotation (includes weekends) Pay Rate: $75.00 per hour About the Role: Join our Client on the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services Contract. As an Electrical Technician, you will primarily repair and maintain instrumentation, communication, and monitoring systems throughout the tunnels. Key duties include: Calibration and setup of equipment and instrumentation throughout the tunnel and ancillary structures. Maintenance and testing of electrical/mechanical tunnel and building systems, including control, communications, lighting, ventilation, air monitoring, signage, power, fire protection, security, traffic monitoring, toll collection, and pump station equipment. Identification of problems down to component level and notification to the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintaining records and compiling reports as specified by the Maintenance Supervisor. Who We’re Looking For: Trade-qualified Electrician. Experience with electrical/electronic/instrumentation and communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and traffic control systems is essential. Previous experience with Traffic Signals, underground power installations, and ITS/Communication equipment is advantageous. Strong communicator, team player, and logical thinker. Mandatory Qualifications / Licences / Tickets: NSW Drivers License (MR or greater) Confined Space Entry Ticket Working from Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Ticket White Card Software Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to learn and use general systems/software including Asset Vision and Team Binder Additional Information: Police Check and Ventia Medical Check required.
