Ideally, you come from a retail background to understand the IT requirements and fundamentals of what a healthy system entails. Understanding of Managing Inventory, Debtors, Creditors and GL to name a few. About the role: · PC hardware set-up / upgrades: Retail Hardware setup for new and existing stores. Including networking, EFT, and installing Harmony POS · Work Closely with third parties; Technicalities – Server hosting/ FBS – ERP System. Telstra account management, Tippet (Phone System), Payment configuration, (NAB Marchant centre) · Store support (IT, roster queries Mon – Sun (Weekend support very limited): Reporting, Harmony system maintenance, Harmony API (Sync properly), Harmony Admin Console (Import all the transactions and sync with the stores), Clock card maintenance (payroll function) / Validation with HR · Project manage system integrations, System side. API Set up for E-Comm sync etc · Firewall to import transactions via FortiGate platform: Systems: ERP: Harmony, FBS - A combination of the C language on a Linux operating system base, Microsoft and FortiGate firewall. Shopify E-Comm, Third-party server hosting.
