Your new role: As an Executive Support Officer at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you will provide trusted, confidential, and high-level executive assistance to Directors and senior executives. You will be the key liaison across departments within the hospital and Metro South Health, helping to deliver outcomes through seamless coordination, documentation, and communication. Your role will involve: Assessing and management of incoming correspondence using procedural guidelines. Coordination and provision of secretariat support for executive meetings (agendas, minutes, and distribution). Management of electronic diaries and screen enquiries professionally. Organising recruitment activities including interviews and documentation. Building effective working relationships across multiple units and stakeholders. Upholding service quality, safety, and respectful treatment of all patients and staff. About you: To succeed in this role, you bring proven clerical and administrative expertise combined with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality work. You'll be adaptable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment. Skills & Attributes: Proven experience in executive-level administrative support, preferably in a hospital or operational setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and electronic diary and records management systems. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a systematic approach to prioritising workload. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively within a team. Customer-focused with strong problem-solving capabilities.
