The key duties of the position include The Role The Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) is seeking a highly motivated and strategic EL 1 Logistics Manager to join the Executive and Support team. This flexible role is responsible for leading logistics planning and strategy, delivering expert policy and legislative advice, and providing high-level briefings on logistics and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage AASB's ERP activities, represent the branch in key forums, and oversee reporting across current work streams. They will deliver standardised logistics solutions, resolve complex issues, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Defence. While ERP is a primary focus, the role may involve supporting broader logistics coordination across AASB platforms and functions. The successful candidate for this role will be required to 'work on-site' About our Team The Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) Executive and Support team, located in Brisbane, Queensland, and part of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), is crucial for enabling Defence capability. They achieve this by supporting Systems Program Offices (SPO) to deliver military aviation systems to the Australian Army. The team manages Branch Business through liaison and coordination with SPOs, continuously striving to streamline processes. Their core functions are delivered through key service areas: Quality Management, Security, Information & Records, Work Health and Safety, Workforce Management, Reserve Management, Accommodation/Facilities, Risk Management, and Operating Budget.
