Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning Tuesday: Morning Wednesday: Morning Thursday: Morning Friday: Morning Expected salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year Our client is a well-established transport and logistics business with a strong reputation for delivering reliable freight services across Australia. With a modern fleet and a customer-first approach, they are seeking a motivated General Freight Allocator to join their growing team. Responsibilities include: Act as a key contact point for clients, drivers, and booking staff across face-to-face, phone, and email communication. Plan and dispatch trucks for metro, interstate, import/export, and oversize freight. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries. Process and monitor customer bookings while providing updates on shipments in and out. Assign vehicles, manage fleet utilisation, and maintain Chain of Responsibility standards (covering fatigue, load, speed, weight, and dimensions). Match the right vehicle to the specific requirements of each job. Accurately complete documentation and system updates within required timeframes. Contribute to the smooth running of warehouse and distribution activities as part of a team. Carry out additional tasks when needed to support operations.
