This full-time role is all about handling contracts from start to finish, making sure our projects run smoothly, on time, and according to all contractual requirements. What You’ll Be Doing: Contracts & Variations Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors. Manage contract variations, extensions of time, and progress claims. Oversee tender processes to make sure contracts meet company policies and legal standards. Support & Problem-Solving Be the main point of contact for contract-related questions and issues. Work with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any contractual problems. Documentation & Compliance Keep all contract documentation and correspondence accurate and up-to-date. Collect and manage subcontractor documentation, insurances, and compliance certificates. Compile and organise O&M manuals, QA documents, and project compliance certificates. Collaboration & Project Monitoring Work closely with project teams, including managers, engineers, and architects, to make sure milestones and goals are met. Monitor contractor work and report on progress, variations, and performance. Reporting & Advice Prepare contract-related reports and submissions for senior management. Highlight any contractual risks or compliance issues and suggest improvements. Gather and analyse project data to produce reports showing outcomes and compliance. Continuous Improvement Recommend ways to improve contract administration processes and ensure better efficiency across projects. Skills & Experience At least 1 year of experience in contract administration, ideally in construction, building or engineering. Strong understanding of contract management principles and practices. Knowledge of contract law, tender processes, and project compliance. Comfortable using contract management software and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Can prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and pay attention to detail under pressure.
