The Opportunity We are seeking an Investment Analyst / Associate to join our Australian team. Reporting to the Investment Director, you will play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and executing investments across our growing renewable energy portfolio. This is a hands-on role in a listed group environment, suited to someone with strong financial modelling expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for clean energy. What You’ll Do Build and maintain financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV) for project acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate risk/return profiles.Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal committees, investors, and stakeholders.Support transaction structuring, due diligence, and negotiations during M&A processes.Analyse market trends (including NEM pricing, FCAS, and regulatory developments).Undertake competitor benchmarking and market research to inform strategy.Work closely with senior leadership (CEO, CFO, Investment Director) to assess capital allocation and engage with investors.Support or lead project sales processes, including managing advisors and negotiating agreements. What We’re Looking For 2–5 years’ experience in an Analyst/Associate role (energy infrastructure or renewables preferred).Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.Solid understanding of the Australian NEM and regulatory landscape.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Bonus Points ForCFA, CA, or similar qualifications.Experience with a developer, IPP, investment banking, or corporate finance in renewables.Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.A passion for the energy transition.
