The Role An opportunity has become available for several Assistants in Nursing (Clinical Role) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. Base salary ranging from $33.20 - $36.35 per hour. About Us The Gold Coast University Hospital General Medical Inpatient Unit is a 24-bed IPU delivering high quality care to a diverse adult population with a broad range of medical conditions, including older adults with complex cognitive needs. Included in the IPU are eight dedicated cognitive support beds to support acutely unwell patients living with Dementia and experiencing Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), delivering a patient and family centred service. The unit supports a Professional Partner model of care, prescribed nurse - patient ratios and magnet principles. We work collaboratively within an inter professional team, including the BPSD consult service, discharge specialists and a wide range of Allied Health practitioners.
