About the Opportunity As the Supply Support Manager for one of Austal Defence Australia’s (ADA) key programs, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing all procurement and logistics activities. What’s Involved Develop and implement program-specific procurement and logistics plans to support project objectives, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery. Enhance and manage end-to-end supply chain processes aligned with program goals and business requirements. Monitor, forecast, and control supply chain budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives and ensuring financial targets are met. Manage procurement schedules and logistics timelines to ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and services. Maintain and track program order management systems and perform required reporting. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to support program outcomes. Ensure compliance with quality standards, manage supplier non-conformances, and coordinate corrective actions. Collaborate with strategic supply chain teams to manage supplier contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure commercial alignment throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll Need 10 years relevant Supply Chain experience Tertiary education in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Logistics, Business or a related field Highly experience in managing supply chain activities in an ERP – preferably IFS Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement Experience with a Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation (desirable) Professional Certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP), CIPS (desirable) Why Join Us?
