ProQuest Recruitment are looking for a Experienced Freight Coordinator to work with in a large Logistics privately owned rail and freight logistics company, delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions across road, rail, and warehousing. National intermodal network cold and ambient storage and specialised freight handling. Job Description This role will liaise handle incoming, outgoing consignments and general customer service enquiries in a professional and efficient manner and includes the following responsibilities: To ensure a high level of customer service to external & internal stakeholders. To ensure that all freight that requires a booking time slot for delivery is booked in time to align with customer requirements. To ensure the weight and cubic of loads booked are done to comply with vehicle limitations. Complete time slot schedule highlighting any missed timeslots with a brief explanation. To assist in the removal of all paperwork for clients requiring bookings from all the manifests for incoming freight. Liaise with customers with any queries relating to incoming/outgoing freight Respond promptly to customer inquiries Handle and resolve customer complaints Ensure Effective communications with Customers at all levels. To assist manager(s) and other staff when required To assist with back loading manifests when required The successful candidate will have: Minimum 3 years in a customer service or similar role in the logistics industry Strong data entry and MS Office Skills Experience with SAP Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business Strong time management and organisational skills The ability to work as part of a team, while taking responsibility for specific functions The successful candidate will be required to undertake Police check and Pre-Employment Medical
