We are currently looking to appoint a Mortgage Broker to join our lending team and contribute to the commercial and residential lending process on behalf of FMD Financial. The role is a full-time opportunity guaranteed to keep you engaged and challenged. Reporting to the Head of Lending, your primary responsibilities will be to: Meet with clients to discuss their financial situation, needs and objectives Facilitate a full assessment to determine client’s eligibility for various mortgage products Provide advice on home loan, commercial and equipment finance options and products Prepare and submit loan applications Guiding clients through the application process Develop and maintain loan processing workflow templates Contribute to the cross referral of services Providing training and mentoring to loan processing team members on the execution of administrative activities associated with the lending process The ideal candidate is someone with: A minimum 5 years experience in the Australian mortgage industry Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking Experience working in a multi disciplinary financial planning firm Extensive experience with AOL, Connective Nexus, Quickli Demonstrated knowledge of personal insurance in wealth creation Demonstrated ability to take ownership with a strong attention to detail Strong time management and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team and autonomously If you believe you possess the required knowledge and skills, please forward your resume and a cover letter addressing the above requirements via the provided link.
