We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager to Lead and drive a culture of positive performance across our regional operations. In this role, you will ensure teams consistently achieve KPIs, maintain contract compliance, meet revenue targets, and deliver on operational, marketing, and service strategies. As a key leader, you’ll actively represent and promote SYC Australian Apprenticeship Support Services, positioning our organisation as a trusted provider of high-quality solutions while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and support operational teams with allocated regions to consistently deliver strong performance. Develop and implement strategies to increase the diversity of Australian Apprentices/Trainees, leverage opportunities to expand our reach and impact. Represent the organisation with professionalism. Actively promoting apprenticeship services to new and existing stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the General manager and the Compliance and Quality Manager to achieve and exceed established compliance benchmarks for your region(s). Drive compliance and work collaboratively with the Department and relevant State Training Authority(s) and ensure contractual compliance and provision of a regional point of contact. Lead and develop, and support teams by fostering a respectful, high morale environment through effective recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance management aligned with SYC policies. Empower and engage employees by promoting strategic alignment, encouraging ownership of objectives, and cultivating a collaborative culture that drive decision making, growth and retention. About You Proven experience in operational and performance management, managing employees and service delivery across metropolitan and/or regional areas and working to achieve or exceed KPIs. Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, client acquisition and account management. Demonstrated ability to lead teams with strategic planning and execution to achieve quality outcomes. Previous experience in managing resources, including remotely, ensuring their availability and effective utilisation to meet organisation and business needs. Strong working knowledge of Australian Apprenticeship Services, VET sector (including RTOs and Group Training Organisations), government training programs, First Nations communities, and WHS legislation. Excellent communication skills, time management and organisation skills. Key screening requirements: Must be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Bankruptcy Check. Possession of a current valid Driver’s License, willingness to drive Where a motor vehicle allowance is paid for the use of the employee’s personal vehicle for work purposes, the employee’s vehicle must meet the minimum requirements outlined in the Motor Vehicle Policy and Procedure to be used for SYC business purposes.
