We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager with significant experience to manage the end-to-end delivery of key projects within Haigh’s Chocolates IT Roadmap. There is also scope of minor projects that fall outside of the IT Roadmap. This is a permanent full-time role based at our Head Office in Parkside. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our technology landscape and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic projects that enable business growth. Reporting to the Head of Technology, the IT Project Manager will work closely with the Technology Team, and other business stakeholders, ensuring projects are executed punctually, within the defined scope, and in adherence to budgetary constraints. This includes providing regular updates to the Digital Steering Committee regarding progress and risk. The IT Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the Head of Technology and Haigh’s business stakeholders by driving the ongoing planning and monitoring of the IT roadmap, ensuring projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and adaptable to evolving business needs. The IT Project Manager's responsibilities include: Provide end-to-end project management; Oversee project budget and allocate resources to align with organisational objectives Develop comprehensive project schedules Continuously monitor milestones and deliverables, and provide regular progress updates Oversee all aspects of vendor contracts Implement change management processes in consultation with key stakeholders Systematically identify and communicate potential project risks Communicate transparently and professionally with stakeholders, providing timely information and fostering a culture of openness and trust throughout the project lifecycle Effectively prioritise tasks, allocate resources, and ensure all deadlines are met To be successful in the role you will need: Experience as an IT Project Manager in a commercial environment (retail or manufacturing environment is advantageous); Provide leadership to one direct report; Hands-on experience with project management software such as MS Project / Smartsheet; Experience with managing 3rd party software solution vendors; Change management experience; Ability to plan, monitor and provide effective reporting on the progress of projects; Clear written and verbal communication skills; Ability to hold stakeholders to agreed actions and timeframes; Excellent organisation and time management skills; Ability to work autonomously / independently.
