We are looking for a Group Sales Manager for our Direct Sales Team based in Perth. The Group Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and performance within SCA’s Direct Sales team. This role leads a team of Direct Account Managers, providing strong commercial direction, strategic guidance, and day-to-day leadership to achieve station revenue targets. The role focuses on building client relationships, developing team capability, and embedding customer focused selling to deliver strong commercial outcomes. What does your day to day look like? Drive team revenue performance by setting clear targets and strategies to achieve budgets Lead a team of Direct Account Managers, providing strong day to day leadership and commercial direction Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Foster a cohesive team culture through appropriate reward and recognition Develop and grow Direct Account Managers through regular training and in field coaching. Monitor performance and provide feedback to team Prepare revenue projection reports relevant to your team Ensure proposals are built using customer-focused insights and creative problem solving Assist in the development of business and strategy plans to increase client retention and new business Support the development of marketing strategies aligned with customer-focused selling principles and effective use of station resources by Account Managers Ongoing and proactive recruitment of staff using talent focused management procedures Champion creative thinking to enhance customer experience and team performance What you’ll need: 2 – 3 years’ customer focused background essential 2 - 3 years’ Southern Cross Austereo sales experience desired 2 – 3 years’ successful sales / management experience desired Local and interstate market knowledge desired Let us sweeten the deal!
