ABOUT THE ORGANISATION A Major Funds Management Group requires a Senior Financial Accountant due to an exciting phase of growth in New Business in their Funds Sector. ABOUT THE ROLE Calculation and Production of Monthly and Quarterly Fund reporting deliverables Responsible for the efficient preparation and review of clients' statutory financial statements, APRA returns and ABS reports Producing Financial Statements at key times such as half year, quarterly and year end in addition to annual APRA reporting Supporting departments such as Unit Pricing, Fund Accounting, Trade Management and Compliance Implementation of the operational risk and compliance framework Collaborating with Auditors and Regulators as required Key point of contact for Front Office and Investment Manager queries Regular Client Meetings maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy as measured by SLA's, KPIs and client feedback. ABOUT YOU Relevant Degree and CA/CPA Qualification ideal - BIG 4 / Chartered professionals welcome Experience in a Financial Reporting / Financial Accounting in a Fund Manager, Custody, Superannuation or BIG 4 Understanding of Investment Markets, Funds and Superannuation Sector with knowledge of IFRS Reporting Requirements Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to articulate findings and build long term professional relationships The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team with high attention to detail Mane Consulting specialises in Fund Accounting & Investment Sector opportunities.
