The Employer Located at the head of the Furracabad and Mathieson Valleys, our client operates a 2,800-hectare property encompassing a seed stock, genetic marketing and beef cattle trading enterprise all within proximity of Glen Innes. The Role Reporting to the Manager, this role focuses on pasture and infrastructure development, weed management, general farm maintenance and stock work if and when required. The successful candidate will have experience operating machinery to undertake slashing, weed mulching and foliar application of fertilisers, and will be self-motivated and able to work independently. As a Multi-Skilled Station Hand/ Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating farm machinery and equipment, including a Posi-trak, John Deere Tractor, and Side by Side. You will also undertake general servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment, including welding, repairs, and property infrastructure. Your duties will extend to the maintenance and installation of new conventional and electric fencing and water infrastructure. Furthermore, you will be involved in the manufacture and spraying of biological fertiliser and the mulching and spraying of blackberry and boxthorn when necessary. Glen Innes, a rural town in the magnificent New England high country of NSW, is 30 km from the property.
