The Role Our client is looking for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong commercial mindset to join their team. This position is well-suited to a paralegal or legally trained candidate with a solid grasp of intellectual property and contract law. You’ll play a key role in supporting business operations by assisting with contract processes, managing IP-related matters, and coordinating with legal counsel as needed. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs and service contracts. Advising internal teams on intellectual property topics such as trademarks, licensing, copyright, and confidentiality obligations. Helping develop and refine internal legal templates and operational policies. Preparing documentation and case summaries for referral to external lawyers. Responding to general legal queries from internal stakeholders and assisting with risk reviews. Staying informed of legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the organisation. Organising legal files and ensuring documentation aligns with internal compliance standards. Required Skills & Experience Legal qualification (LLB or equivalent) or formal training in legal studies (Paralegal diploma/certification preferred). Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar legal support or commercial advisory role, ideally within a corporate or in-house team. In-depth knowledge of contractual obligations and intellectual property concepts. Business-oriented thinking with the ability to assess and mitigate legal risks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional attention to detail and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
