Description With a new Lateral Development project awarded at the Cadia Mine in Orange we are on the lookout for a NSW ticketed shift boss. the Opportunity The position is full time role with holidays and sick leave accrued. You will receive ongoing support and training and enjoy the following benefits: Great salary package Working on 1 weeks on 1 week off roster FIFO available from Brisbane , Sydney, Port Macquarie Responsibilities The role involves Plan tasks for the shift in conjunction with the Project Manager Allocate machinery, work areas and tasks to shift employees; Direct and supervise workers employed on the Project; Closely supervise employees ensuring that work is being carried out in accordance with SWI's and as per instruction on mine plans; complete shift reports and timesheets; Set an example for all employees to follow and implement the concepts of quality, environment, healthy and safety; Discuss the quality, environmental, health and safety aspects of all operations with their employees and ensure that they understand that these issues are important to protect themselves, the environment and Redpath; Assist and lead where appropriate in the investigation of all accidents/incidents to determine causes and corrective action needed to prevent a recurrence; A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely .
