Description The Role: The School Receptionist is the welcoming face of Carey, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, and the broader community. You will manage reception operations, assist the Admissions Team with administrative tasks, and support the smooth running of the Community Engagement department. Fixed term until end of October 2026, this role covers the afternoon Reception shift from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. If this sounds like the role for you, why not apply! The Average Day: Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage incoming calls and respond to enquiries professionally. Support the Admissions Team with data entry, enrolments, and tour bookings. Maintain reception areas and coordinate deliveries, courier, and taxi bookings. Attend to students requiring First Aid and follow emergency procedures when necessary. The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Technological proficiency, including experience with Synergetic highly regarded. Ability to problem solve, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A valid Working With Children Check and commitment to child safety.
