We’re seeking a highly capable Risk and Compliance Officer to join our client’s Finance team for a 3-month temp role based in the Adelaide CBD . Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role ideal for a professional with strong government experience and a background in policy development, who can hit the ground running and deliver meaningful outcomes quickly. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, edit, and update organisational policies in line with government standards Rapidly integrate into teams and build strong stakeholder relationships Engage with line managers to assess current practices against governance requirements Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend practical improvements Lead the uplift and implementation of updated policies Contribute to strengthening risk mitigation and governance frameworks across the organisation What We’re Looking For: Experience in the government sector (essential) Strong policy development knowledge Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive, confident communicator who can quickly build rapport and gather insights Ability to work independently and productively within tight timeframes Submit your resume with a short cover note highlighting your relevant experience.
