We’re seeking energetic, hands-on Team Leaders to inspire and guide our picking crews, drive daily operations, and play a vital role in delivering a successful berry harvest. Positions are available at: Sulphur Creek – Blueberry Farm East Devonport – Strawberry Farm Wesley Vale – Strawberry & Raspberry Farms Dunorlan / Bengeo – Blackberry Farm Lebrina – Blueberry Farm. About the opportunity: Successful candidates will be employed on a casual basis and rostered for regular shifts , including weekends. While we aim to provide consistent work, changing operational needs may affect hours or job availability. We will provide as much notice as possible if this occurs. Multiple start dates available from December onwards. The tasks include, but are not limited to: Managing the performance of picking crew members by understanding their strengths, motivating them, and providing coaching to support positive improvement Providing support to team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to perform their best work Guiding the team throughout the day and coordinating with the farm logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient harvesting Ensuring the high quality of the fruit being picked Reporting daily to the management team on crew performance against KPIs Taking responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of the crew – safety is a top priority at Costa, and we are seeking leaders who share this value Successful candidates will have: Previous experience leading people (in any field), which is advantageous but not essential A driver’s license and access to your own vehicle – please note, Costa does not provide transport or accommodation Dedication to lead and motivate your team to meet performance indicators (KPIs) while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Commitment and availability to work on a roster through to the end of the season Enjoyment in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds What we offer: Full-Training provided for all tasks creating work flexibility and consistency in the work.
