Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Newcastle Commencement Date: January 2026 In 2026, LWB Education will launch our first four campuses in Newcastle, Grafton, Mount Druitt, and Dubbo, each with a Teacher and Youth Worker for up to 15 students. As the Administration Officer you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the campuses by providing administration support to the principal and staff. You will also contribute to a welcoming and supportive school environment, collaborate with colleagues, and engage respectfully and sensitively with young people and families. Maintain accurate student, staff, and school records using management systems and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and audits. Support a trauma-informed, nurturing environment for young people, embedding therapeutic practices and fostering positive relationships with students and families. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, engage in professional development, and actively support a positive, safe, and culturally respectful workplace. Uphold child safety, legal compliance, and organisational policies while supporting organisational objectives and school operations. Skills & Experience Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Business Administration and/ or previous relevant experience Experience in administrative support, preferably in a school environment, including assisting management. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality outcomes. Skilled in handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality. Strong teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with colleagues, young people, and families. Proficient in Microsoft Office, school management systems, report writing, and problem-solving using initiative. Willingness to travel between school sites as required, attend professional development, and support data analysis for planning and reporting.
