A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a high-performing, multi-franchise dealership, based in the Upper Hunter Valley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading a technical team to success. Managing a team of 12 technicians and overseeing daily workflow, you’ll ensure quality standards, technician efficiency, and smooth operations across multiple brands. This is a non-productive role, though occasional hands-on tasks like registration checks or road tests may arise. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating daily technician workflow and liaising with Service Advisors Monitoring productivity and efficiency metrics Ensuring repair quality through road tests and internal checks Supporting customer interactions when high-level technical input is needed Maintaining warranty compliance with the support of the Warranty Administrator What we’re looking for: A strong technical background with leadership experience Excellent communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills Passion for service excellence and technician development Prior experience in a multi-franchise workshop highly regarded Exposure to Express Servicing is a bonus In return you will be joining a high performing dealership group, with a strong salary on offer, and incentives based on performance.
