About the role: These roles involve packing fresh strawberries and/or blueberries in a busy, cold environment. Following directions, paying close attention to detail, and having good hand-eye coordination are essential to ensure the process runs smoothly. Successful candidates will be employed on a casual basis and rostered for regular shifts, including weekends. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: Packing and grading fresh berries on a processing line to ensure only high-quality fruit is packed Following directions and working safely in accordance with our safe work procedures Keeping the packing area and surrounding areas clean and safe Performing other tasks as required, depending on the needs of the Pack Shed About You To be successful in this role, you will: Have previous experience in packing lines, pallet riders, or similar activities, which is advantageous but not essential Be available to work flexible hours, including varying start times and rotating days based on operational needs Be able to stand for long periods and work in a cold environment Be willing to follow instructions, work respectfully, and contribute effectively as part of a team Be able to work under pressure in a diverse team environment Be committed and available to work through to the end of the season What we offer: Full-Training provided for all tasks creating work flexibility and consistency Paid in line with the Costa Berries Enterprise Agreement Free Access to an Employee Assistant Program.
