The Role Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, Financial Systems, the key responsibilities include: User Support: handle day-to-day requests; deliver user training System Administration: Lead admin tasks incl. month-end rollovers, annual financial statements, and reporting Master Data: Maintain data accuracy and governance for payments and reporting Governance: Contribute to financial systems governance functions Change Management: Support enhancements, coordinate changes, and assist with system projects The Ideal Person We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused finance professional who is either already experienced in financial systems or keen to step into a dedicated Systems Accountant role. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting background who enjoys governance, process improvement, and problem-solving, and wants to specialise in systems. You’ll bring curiosity, clear communication skills, a positive attitude, and the confidence to manage competing priorities. You may come from one of the following backgrounds: An APS6 Accountant, who is motivated to transition into a dedicated systems role A finance professional from the consulting sector with hands-on experience supporting government clients, now looking to move into the APS Experience with TechnologyOne is highly regarded. A minimum Baseline security clearance is required for this role.
