We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate to join a leading firm with a growing Tax practice in Sydney. In this role, you will work closely with leading practitioners to deliver strategic advice to a broad range of clients across complex direct and indirect tax matters. You will also play a key role in shaping the practice by:Advising on complex tax issues, both domestic and cross-borderSupporting business development initiatives to grow the practiceMentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team Who We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:At least 9 years’ post-qualification experience in tax law, gained in a top-tier, mid-tier, or specialist firm, or within the legal/tax arm of a large accounting firmStrong technical expertise across both direct and indirect taxA client-focused and proactive approach, with proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationshipsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement A transportable practice will be highly regarded but is not essential.
