Key Requirements : Current Electrical Licence with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience (experience with irrigation systems highly regarded) Solid understanding of safe work practices and equipment maintenance Organised, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship Technical Skills (Preferred) : Experience with VFDs, PLCs, Radio Communications, and Irrigation Controllers Proficiency with AutoCAD Further training and support in these areas can be provided for the right candidate. Qualifications and Licences : A current manual driver's licence A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain on the job) A current White Card Elevated work platform license preferred (can be obtained on job) Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to : Interpret and determine electrical requirements and capacity for irrigation systems from internal or external designs. Prepare Bills of Quantity, costings, and assist with tenders as required. Install, upgrade, and maintain electrical boards, cabling, conduits, cable trays, and automation systems including pump sheds, controllers, and radio communication networks. Assess, diagnose and correct electrical faults or system failures. Assist installations team with hydraulic fault-finding issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and represent RWE at relevant promotional activities. Complete accurate service reports, job cards, and ensure correct stock allocation for invoicing. Follow all WHS policies and procedures, and perform other duties as required.
