As a Principal Advisor, Health and Safety, you will design, deliver and monitor effectiveness of the health, safety and wellbeing management system, programs and initiatives for Queensland Health. You will provide expert, strategic advice and support Executive and senior management on a range of complex organisational health, safety and wellbeing, injury management and workers' compensation issues. Additionally, you will facilitate statewide forums and communications and sharing of health, safety and wellbeing-related information. Role fit: Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary health, safety and wellbeing strategies and initiatives, including national and state policies, legislation, standards and trends, and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to develop and implement effective systems, policies and programs within a large public sector organisation. A record of achievement in developing, implementing, evaluating and continually improving strategic organisation-wide health, safety and wellbeing management systems and strategies within complex environments. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to analyse performance data and provide strategic advice and reports to drive systems improvement. Why work with us?
