You will be accountable, able to problem solve, work collaboratively and take ownership to enable success in this role.As the Client Services Officer, you will work within the Authorisations team in the Licensing and Regulatory Interventions unit to provide high quality information to the clients of the Office of Industrial Relations about a broad range of workplace health and safety information and services and apply departmental policies and procedures to process applications for High Risk Work licences and other authorisations.Key responsibilities include:- Represent Licensing and Regulatory Interventions as a first point of contact in relation to workplace health and safety legislative and licensing enquiries.- Effectively and efficiently manage the needs of callers through effective use of questioning, problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills.- Providing verbal advice to customers in a timely and efficient manner.- Ensure a high standard of data entry and record maintenance for all work carried out.- Contribute positively within a team environment.- Assist in collection, storage and retrieval of information and enquiry handling and recording of statistics.- Provide information and support to internal and external clients in relation to issues and procedures in a timely manner.- Implement records capture, management, storage and retrieval protocols and processes to specified quality guidelines.- Relieve in additional Client Service Officer roles as required.The successful candidate will be required to work within the hours of 8:00AM and 5:30PM between Monday and Friday.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/663169/25Closing Date: Wednesday, 15 October 2025
