This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP Education Business Services (EBS) is the key provider of professional business services and support for Western Australian public schools, statutory boards and divisions of the Department. The Role The successful applicant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Director or Manager and staff, including ordering goods and services for the team (such as stationary and staff equipment), arranging payments, assist with organising approved work events (e.g. catering and venue), make travel bookings for staff and general office housekeeping. This role will include arranging meetings, preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes and undertaking follow-up actions when required. As the Administrative Officer, you will respond to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, e-mail and other communications as well as prepare correspondence, Ministerial responses and reports in accordance with Departmental correspondence protocols. You will also use Departmental systems to perform most tasks electronically, including communication and records management.
