Job description: Palo Alto Networks – Firewalls Palo Alto Certified – PCNSE Implementation and migration experience from non-Palo (Cisco or Checkpoint) to Palo Alto FW Deep hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto FW & Expedition tool (used for Migration) Must have strong understanding of dynamic routing (BGP) and configuration on Palo Alto FW Experienced working in large/complex environments with multivendor firewall. Has a minimum of 6-8 Years of experience in designing and implementing Palo Alto Firewalls. Experienced in performing large scale firewall migrations from legacy vendor products to Palo Alto NGFW platforms. Has solid understanding and working experience in designing and implementing Virtual Routers and BGP on firewalls. Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders. Act as the point of contact for all project issue/problem resolution and mitigate any potential conflicts within various tech stakeholders. Conduct workshops with stream leads for both network (corporate) and security (firewalls) to assess current implementation progress. Review existing documentation and deployments for: Cisco Multisite EVPN VXLAN Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Networks firewalls Define integration requirements and migration approach for each firewall pair, focusing on connectivity and high availability (excluding firewall build and policy migration). Develop an integration design document covering: Firewall integration with the new network High availability, virtual systems, routing, VPC, physical connectivity High-level migration strategy Facilitate design reviews, updates, and approvals. Develop and document a migration approach aligned with the integration design, existing documentation, and project schedule. Include risk assessment, mitigation strategies, dependencies, change management, and key stakeholders in the migration documentation.
