Recruitment Vision is looking for general labourers and yard hands for a number of amazing long-term opportunities based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs These amazing roles are with a market-leading manufacturing organisation and is ideal for anyone looking for a long-term opportunities with above award rates Skills Experience and Role Requirements, A qulifed bricklayer or experince working with bricks as a labourer or in the brick industry. Physically fit and able to handle general physical labour tasks such as stacking/packing bricks and cutting bricks. Able and willing to work in manufacturing environment and conditions (e.g. dust, noise, heat etc). Maintain clean and tidy work area including kiln car repair area and kiln car cleaners Perform daily routine inspections of all available kiln cars. Perform routine block alignment and replacement on cars going through the system. Perform daily inspections of soft seals on both front and back of kiln cars. Inspect Kiln Cars for any damaged sustained to metal frame and skirts, and repair any damage found. Work as part of a team to complete full car re-builds. Note: Training for all of the above on site in the role.
