We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager, to lead our internal Health Centre providing wellbeing services to day and boarding students. This position oversees the daily co-ordination of the Centre, quality service provision and nursing staff management. It also maintains regulatory compliance, codes of practice and drives continuous process and system improvements. Importantly, it also participates in the development and promotion of general and mental health and wellbeing strategies to support adolescent and young adult girls, and is part of our Pastoral Care team including Nurses, Psychologists, Heads of Year, Teachers and other College leaders. The successful candidate must demonstrate the following: Relevant nursing qualifications and eligibility for membership with the Nurses & Midwifery Board of Aust Substantial experience in general nursing practice, and exposure to adolescent and youth mental health and wellbeing management strategies and initiatives Experience running and managing a Health Centre/Practice Excellent co-ordination, collaboration and supervisory skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels Exposure to health and wellbeing education and promotion Strong knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and regulatory compliance requirements A commitment to girls' health and wellbeing in an all girls' education environment MLC is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and College community.
