Meat Packer/Processor required for South Australian Meat Wholesalers/Retailers and Food Service Company located just outside of the Adelaide CBD. Early morning starts are required with this employment position. Due to the early morning starts, applicants must have a driver's license, and be able to arrange their own transport to and from work. If you are reliant upon public transport, you will NOT be suited to this employment position. Applicants on Student Visas need not apply, as you must be able to work more than 24 hours per week to successfully fulfil this employment position. Applicants on working Holiday Visas also need not apply as this is a long-term, secure and stable employment position. All applicants MUST be flexible with their hours of work, and be available able to work from Monday to Friday. Duties included, but not limited to: Cutting machine operations, Picking and packing of chicken and red meat orders (Pork, Beef, and LAMB) Vacuum-pack machine operations, Trimming, traying, marinading, cutting, flattening, & crumbing, Bagging, labelling and boxing of meats, Making and preparing: Schnitzels, Shazlicks, Burgers, Koftas, Doner Kebab Chicken Spits, Meatballs and other Meat and Associated meat products as well, Beginning of the day set-up, and end of the day clean-down, Applicants must also learn to operate and clean machinery too. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential as well. Applicants must Be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team too.
