The role of our Chief People Officer is to strategically design, build and lead a Brightwater People and Culture function that can operate commercially and provide purpose, independence and connection to a shared spirit, for each of our current and future team members in an environment of ongoing and continued change. To be GREAT in this role you will be motivated to: Ensure modern, compliant and effective people systems and Human Resources talent is in place to deliver on the design and implementation of excellent people processes Develop and enable our leaders to make excellent organisational, workforce and individual people decisions that best position their teams for optimal performance in a continuously changing operating environment Act as ‘coach and conscience’ to the Executive team on their personal leadership approaches, and broader implications of their role modelling to the organisation Generate workforce and organisational / cultural insights to inform Board and Executive decision making and identify and implement the right improvement initiatives Ensure people practices remain contemporary and relevant Undertake ongoing functional and process optimisation, to ensure that People and Culture service delivery and cost to serve remain competitive and appropriate for organisation needs Your story so far: Significant proven senior leadership experience in strategic people and culture / human resources functions (10 years’ experience) Track record of driving positive people and capability outcomes in mission-based / purpose-driven organisations Solid understanding of contemporary Australian workforce practices in employee relations, leadership, and organisational effectiveness Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the proven ability to coach and guide leaders Demonstrated experience in designing and leading cultural and process changes across a large organisation Working knowledge of the human resources technology environment, with the ability to differentiate functionality capabilities from major technology providers Desirable – experience in Aged Care or human services sectors The Benefits of Working At Brightwater: Plus access to salary packaging benefits of a not-for-profit organisation of up to $18,500 Plus a car allowance Plus our unique staff benefits program, including access to "Brightwater Plus" which gives discounts to over 370 retailers Plus access to corporate health insurance discounts Plus heavily discounted gym membership with access to 65 facilities across Perth A modern working environment with free gym, parking and on-site cafe Training and development to continue your growth A committed team driven by purpose Brightwater is a flexible employer and offers flexible working arrangements.
