Position Summary The Exploration Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic planning, execution and management of all exploration programs across the company’s exploration portfolio. The role requires a technically strong and commercially minded exploration leader with extensive experience in gold systems, preferably in Africa or other emerging regions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of cost-effective exploration programs Oversee target generation, prioritisation and systematic testing across multiple licenses. Ensure exploration activities are aligned with corporate objectives, milestones, and budgets. Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary in-country exploration team, ensuring adherence to safety and governance standards. Liaise with corporate leadership, joint venture partners and technical consultants to deliver project milestones and resource growth. Deliver regular updates, reports and technical presentations to the board, investors and external stakeholders. Monitor competitor activity and regional M&A trends to help guide strategic positioning. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Geology or related Geoscience discipline. Minimum 10 years experience in mineral exploration, with a strong focus on gold. Proven track record in leading successful exploration campaigns from grassroots to resource definition. Previous discovery experience in Africa or similar emerging nations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with ASX reporting standards (JORC 2012). Strong communication skills and experience in engaging with boards, investors and regulators. Ability to work effectively in remote and multicultural environments.
