Position Overview The Apprentice - Painter and Decorating role is a four-year apprenticeship designed to provide practical training and experience in the painting and decorating trade. Throughout this apprenticeship, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals while learning key techniques and safety procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will also be expected to attend TAFE and complete all necessary coursework to achieve your Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. Candidate Profile We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the painting and decorating trade. Satisfactory completion of Year 10 Record of School Achievement. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and willingness to work outdoors. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in painting and decorating. Desirable: Class C licence.
