Your Role in Making a Difference As the Pool Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that residential pool barriers meet all safety regulations. You will conduct inspections, enforce compliance standards, and work closely with pool owners to promote best practise. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to community service. Tertiary qualifications in swimming pool compliance, building surveying, planning, building, engineering or related discipline or demonstrated relevant experience Accredited Swimming Pool Inspector (formerly category E1 Certifier) and/or qualifications in Building Surveying Demonstrated experience in environmental health, particularly in pool safety regulations Class C Drivers Licence Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to investigate and resolve complaints and requests for information Confident in providing clear and detailed compliance reports If you are eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the welfare of our community, we would love to hear from you!
