About The Role The HR Support Officer plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality human resource support services, particularly focusing on recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employment relations. Key responsibilities include managing the administration of the Council's Alcohol and Other Drugs Program and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring efficient due diligence activities for timely hiring. Additionally, this position will assist with various HR projects, including the Aspire Program and other critical initiatives such as HR systems implementation, stabilisation and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will exhibit operational thinking, foster collaborative relationships, and take personal accountability for achieving set goals. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong background in human resources and a proven ability to manage administrative tasks effectively. Significant experience in a similar role, showcasing relevant HR knowledge. Proficient in standard office applications, particularly the MS Office suite. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-directed with strong problem-solving, research, and analytical abilities. Ability to manage HR systems administration effectively.
