The Lorian Group is looking for an Estimating Manager/ Senior Estimator to look after fitout, refurbishment and new build projects across the health, retail, government, education, and hospitality sectors. With projects ranging from complex refurbishments to new builds valued up to $10M, About the Role: As Estimating Manager, you will oversee and manage the full tendering and estimating process, working closely with senior leadership, project managers, and clients. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, competitive, and timely tenders while leading a small estimating team and implementing best practices across the department. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the estimating function across all fitout, refurbishment, and new build projects Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accurate pricing Manage tender processes from initial enquiry through to submission and negotiation Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing and build strong relationships Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and procedures Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager in the fitout/refurbishment and construction sector Strong background delivering projects across health, retail, government, education, and hospitality sectors Demonstrated expertise in CostX estimating software, experience with Cubit and Buildsoft will also be considered Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and communication skills Ability to lead and mentor a team while working collaboratively across the business What’s on Offer: A long-term opportunity with a respected and growing construction company A diverse range of projects, from detailed refurbishments to new builds up to $10M Career development and leadership opportunities Supportive, collaborative team culture If you’re an experienced Estimating Manager ready to step into a pivotal leadership role with a dynamic and growing construction company, we’d love to hear from you.
