Salary Range = $75000 - $85000 Business Location - Maddingley VIC 3340 Key Responsibilities Detect and diagnose faults in engines and vehicle components. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, suspension, and braking systems. Replace worn and defective parts using manufacturer specifications and service manuals. Conduct scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles run efficiently and comply with emission standards. Test, adjust, and calibrate repaired mechanical parts to confirm proper performance. Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to test vehicle components. Inspect vehicles, provide roadworthiness assessments, and identify required repairs. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification). Proven experience in diesel motor and heavy vehicle mechanics. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
