AWS Administrator Australian Citizens with NV1 Security Clearance AWS Environments cloud service administrators within the Cloud Operations team Responsible for the ongoing management and support of the AWS Environment. This includes monitoring system health, performance tuning, Incident response, capacity planning and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met Responsible for implementing and maintaining automation scripts using AWS Systems Manager or AWS Lambda, maintaining Defence tools and integrations, troubleshooting complex issues and providing advanced technical support to end users. a) Service Provisioning and Orchestration: i. Support and review the on-boarding of new clients to Enterprise Clouds and enable the provisioning of new or existing Services for clients. ii.activities required to on-board clients and create subscriptions and/or accounts. iii. base-level configuration for clients such as provisioning a subscription and access so that the client can deploy resources. iv. maintain and update system self-service and self-provisioning capabilities for administrators of Enterprise Clouds and administrators within the client subscriptions and accounts. v. troubleshoot and resolve issues that interrupt self-service or self-provisioning capabilities across the Enterprise Clouds. vi. maintain automated service on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including using scripting and automation tools. b) Environment Lifecycle Management i. The Environment Lifecycle Management enables the end-to-end management of the Enterprise Clouds ii. must maintain operating system and Application Software currency, patching, routine upgrades, updates, whitelisting, blacklisting, ensuring anti-virus Software is up to date, undertaking routine maintenance and decommissioning assets, platforms and Environments iii. end-to-end Environment lifecycle for the AWS Cloud, including providing input and information for designs, development, build, Testing and decommissioning activities for the platforms, Environments, systems and sub-systems iv. decommissioning activities for subscriptions and accounts that are no longer required or orphaned and liaise with clients and data owners to determine next steps for data archival and/or data destruction. v. provide Environmental lifecycle-related guidance and assistance to subscription and account owners, as requested by the Commonwealth
