YOUR ROLE Join MACS as the General Manager of the newly formed Disputes and Litigation team, made up of two new specialist units – Negligence and Redress, and Workplace and Employment Law. The Disputes and Litigation team is responsible for the strategic management of a broad range of complex and sensitive matters, including major litigation, historical child abuse claims, employment and industrial relations disputes, and regulatory investigations. As the General Manager of Disputes and Litigation, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and oversight of civil litigation matters involving MACS. Job Description WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead and support the Negligence and Redress, and Workplace and Employment Law units, promoting a culture of collaboration and service excellence, encouraging professional growth and leadership development, and ensuring team leaders are empowered and aligned with MACS’s strategic direction. Provide strategic legal advice on a broad range of complex and sensitive matters, including major litigation and disputes, and oversee the development and implementation of resolution strategies. Oversee Disputes and Litigation operations to promote continuous improvement, maintain consistency in service quality, and manage resources efficiently and effectively.
