Job Description YOUR ROLE Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) is seeking a People Support Officer to join the People Experience (PX) function within the People & Culture directorate. This fixed-term 6-month role supports schools across the Archdiocese in providing a seamless employment lifecycle experience, with a strong focus on onboarding, contract management, and employee record administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR administrator who thrives in a high-volume, compliance-focused environment and enjoys supporting schools and employees. WHAT YOU WILL DO Administer onboarding for new school employees and variations for existing employees. Manage employee records, offboarding, and validation of key employment documentation. Support schools in preparing contracts, documentation, and promoting digital engagement with ePortal. Work with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing. Escalate and resolve portal-related issues in collaboration with eHR and IT support teams. Contribute to process improvements for onboarding and employment variations. ABOUT YOU Experience in HR administration, onboarding, or contract management (preferably in education or similar). Knowledge of employee record administration and payroll entitlements. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. High-level communication and customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Skilled in Microsoft Office, with experience in enterprise systems (TechnologyOne desirable). Tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline (preferred).
