About the role: This permanent part-time position involves working in our therapeutic homes for children aged 12–18 living in Out of Home Care. You’ll be part of a 24/7 rotating roster (morning, afternoon, night, sleepover & awake shifts) with your schedule provided 2 weeks in advance. Locations include: Thornleigh West Pymble Artarmon You’ll work closely with young people with complex needs, helping them heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed care and meaningful relationships. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or trauma is highly valued and will help you succeed in this role. To be successful in this role, you will have: Cert III, IV or Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work (or willingness to enrol) Experience working with young people facing emotional, behavioural, or social challenges. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care. Ability to build trust, maintain boundaries, and use behaviour support strategies. Excellent report writing and safeguarding practices.
