Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to combine strategy, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement to connect communities with some of the region’s most exciting developments. 2 yrs contract (daily-rate) Hybrid model Buderim, Sunshine Coast Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage strategic communication and engagement plans. Collaborate with project teams to craft clear, compelling messaging that connects communities with project benefits. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, community groups, and project partners. Prepare communication materials such as media releases, newsletters, and digital content. Provide timely, expert advice to senior leaders and project teams. Identify challenges early and implement solutions to ensure smooth communication and engagement outcomes. You are a communicator who thrives at the intersection of strategy and creativity. You can simplify complex information, build trust with stakeholders, and deliver messaging that inspires confidence. Skills Required: Strong experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, or public relations (government or infrastructure experience highly regarded). Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field are highly desirable. IAP2 Certification will be well regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders. Experience navigating fast-paced or high-profile environments with sensitivity and professionalism.
