We are currently recruiting for a Communications Coordinator role for our client, a boutique marketing and communications consultancy, based in Brisbane QLD. This is a part time, hybrid role with one day per week based in the Brisbane CBD office. THE OPPORTUNITY: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring communications and marketing campaigns are carried out effectively for partners. In particular, your focus in this role will be content creation and digital communications such as regular communications, newsletters, social media posts, website updates and news articles, blog posts, etc. This role also provides administrative and operational support to the Managing Director to ensure all marketing and communications strategies are being delivered in a timely and effective manner in line with the goals of the campaign and within appropriate timeframes. ALL ABOUT YOU: Experience in implementing and executing communications and marketing plans; Experience in creating content calendars or content plans for social media channels and other online presence; Delivering on content plans by creating content (visuals written) for social media channels; Experience in utilising various advertising and marketing mediums particularly digital, online, and social media; Exposure to project management and coordinating events; Excellent written skills and keen organisational and communication skills; Capable of being attentive and timely with administrative tasks; The ability to work autonomously within a team environment and to tight deadlines; High level skills in Microsoft Office; Experience with design software tools (ideally Canva); Experience using or ability to pick up project management software (eg. Asana); Experience in practical website management and using CMS/WordPress (desirable); Direct experience in a communications or marketing role within an NFP, for-purpose, community, or social-impact organisation will be highly regarded; Qualifications in Marketing, Advertising or Communications or other relevant disciplines (desirable). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This role is a part-time hybrid position; hours can be spread across 3 or 4 working days; with at least one day in office based in Brisbane CBD.
