About the role Our team offers expert support across a range of legal disputes and financial investigations. Recognised as trusted experts in Forensic accounting and litigation support, we provide opinion evidence of the highest quality and reliability. As we continue to experience growth, we are looking for an analytically minded and client-focused Accountant to join our Sydney team. You will work alongside the leading Forensic Personal Injury Accountants in the country, gaining exposure to a variety of interesting and challenging work, and developing your expertise in the field. Review and analyse financial documents, including tax returns, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets Assess pre-accident weekly earnings for motor accident claimants in accordance with relevant accounting principles, legislation and Personal Injury Commission decisions Prepare financial models and forensic accounting reports for personal injury cases Written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders, including claimants, solicitors and insurance company claims advisors Conduct online research and utilise economic, statistical, and industry-specific data for assessments Desired Skills and Experience About you Recent graduate or undergraduate with up to three years of accounting experience in either a professional services (e.g. tax preparation) or corporate environment Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity and desire to develop advanced report writing skills Inquisitive and analytical mindset and an ability to think critically and creatively High attention to detail Strong research capability A commitment to excellence A desire to learn and grow Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously (under direction) and collaboratively as part of a team An intention to pursue CA or CPA accreditation in due course About the Vincents experience Our people are our greatest strength.
