See more at our website - www.atsichsbrisbane.org.au Description About the Role The Learning Officer will work closely with the Learning & Development team to support and deliver ATSICHS Brisbane learning program to help build the capability, knowledge and skills of all staff and meet training requirement for both mandatory training and compliance training. The Learning officer is responsible for the effective management and support of the organisation's LMS platform. This role involves configuration, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing user support to ensure the successful delivery of educational and training materials. Duties In collaboration with stakeholders and L&D team members, create eLearning content aligned with instructional design best practices. Gather and analyse feedback from participants and implement changes to course content and delivery methods based on evaluation results. Source and collate data to generate accurate reports to assist in the analysis of on training activity and performance trends. Provide Senior Managers and team leaders with monthly reports on the outcomes of internal and external training. Develop, convert and integrate eLearning content for the LMS using course creating tools including SCORM packages. Provide technical support to all LMS users. Serve as system expert and provide technical expertise for system issues. Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, data collection systems and online learning platforms. Coordinate training including scheduling and booking learning activities, managing learning-related communications, coordinating required resources, and other activities as required. Skills And Experiences Minimum Certificate III or higher in, Education, Training or related field. Understanding of adult learning principles and how they apply to both online and blended training solutions. Experience in developing, reviewing and delivering learning and development solutions. Experience developing a broad range of documentation such as user guides and manuals, technical specifications and training materials. Intermediate MS Office (MS Excel) and LMS skills are required. Literacy, numerical, and analytical skills are essential. Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise workload and work efficiently and effectively. Desirable Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116). At least 1 year in developing and delivering accessible & engaging face to face and online adults learning activities. Experience with site administration and content development for learning management systems. Additional Requirements National Police Certificate.
